Here are the results of our Art Clay Silver "Ring Making" Class last night. On the left you can see a ring being showed off by its proud owner. It was made in just 3 hours with no knowledge of silverwork or soldering necessary! All participants left with a beautiful PURE SILVER ring! Want to know more? Check out our range of Metal Clay Classes here.

deWi Jewellery

Talented jewelery designer Patricia de Winter from London found herself in The Little Bead Shop recently. She snapped up some of my beads and has been kind enough to show us the pretty necklace and bracelet that she created with them! Patricia works with a range of quality materials including Sterling Silver, Gemstones, and of course, Lampwork. Patricia sells her work online - this necklace is available from Etsy and the bracelet from Pinkdoodle.

New Bead Shape!

Well, after making a huge amount of beads with my Lentil Press I thought it was time to master a new press - my Sleek Pillow. This press makes a beautifully shaped bead and these were kept simple and feature pure silver wire. The beads remind me of sweeties! I love this press!

ACWUK Guild Competition

Well its competition time with the ACWUK Guild again, and this year the theme is "Night"! There are two categories - a pendant/necklace or a ring, which must be made primarily from Art Clay Silver. I have been sketching away for about a month now and have finally settled on some designs. I think I'm just about ready to start making up my jewellery, ready for the entry deadline of the 15th of August. The competition is open to all guild members. Last years theme was "The Sea" and winners can be viewed here .
